Our new Heat Mats are made from quality materials and are all CE marked. They have a UK 3-pin plug as standard which can be easily removed for ease of installation into your terrarium.
These heat mats can be connected to a thermostat and then fixed underneath or to the sides of an enclosure to get an even, ambient heat. Please ensure that there is enough airflow around the mat to ensure the heat mat does not over heat.
When choosing a heat mat, it is usually recommended to purchase a mat that is roughly a third to a half of the overall length of the vivarium and then positioned up against one end to give a hot end and a cold end to help the animals thermoregulate. If you are not sure what size to get, then please feel free to ask.
